इसलिए हम उस सवाल से शुरू करते हैं जो असल में मायने रखता है: यह पैसा किसलिए है, और आपको इसकी ज़रूरत कब है? बाकी सब इसी जवाब से तय होता है। तीन साल दूर के लक्ष्य और बीस साल दूर के लक्ष्य के लिए बिल्कुल अलग फ़ैसलों की ज़रूरत होती है, और इस फ़र्क़ को अनदेखा करने से ही योजनाएँ चुपचाप नाकाम हो जाती हैं।
